QUIENES SOMOS
Somos una asociación que deseamos hacer de Asturias nuestro hogar y contribuir a su economía y progreso, con «acciones que eviten la despoblación de las áreas rurales, fomentando la permanencia de sus actuales habitantes y la instalación de nuevos vecinos. Creemos en la conservación del patrimonio natural y cultural del Principado, mediante el desarrollo del mundo rural de forma sostenible, ecológica y solidaria». – extraído de los Estatutos.
Afayáivos significa Bienvenidos en asturiano, y lo hemos elegido como nombre porque nos hemos sentido acogidos por las gentes del Principado, y porque deseamos dar la bienvenida a nuestra asociación y a esta hermosa tierra a quien comparta nuestros objetivos.
Nuestra primera campaña es en favor del Glamping como modalidad turística de baja intensidad que puede dinamizar zonas rurales de interior, y ayudar a preservar la belleza natural de parcelas privadas y a la rehabilitación de construcciones tradicionales. Si crees que tu parcela podría albergar alojamientos Glamping o tu negocio beneficiarse de la red, únete a nuestra asociación para tener más fuerza ante las autoridades competentes en materia de turismo.
ABOUT US
We are an association of people who have chosen to live in rural Asturias. Our primary goal is to help develop more sustainable rural communities and reverse the outward migration from rural areas. We believe in rural development based on sustainability and solidarity. Through our activities we aim to help preserve, enhance and restore the cultural and natural heritage of our region. – translated from our Statute.
Afayáivos means Welcome in Asturian, and we chose it because we have felt welcomed by the people of the Principado, and because we wish to welcome to our association and to this beautiful region of northern Spain whoever may share our goals.
Our first campaign is in favour of Glamping as a new form of non-intensive tourism in Spain that can improve the economy of rural areas, while preserving the natural beauty of private plots of land and encourage the restoration of traditional buildings. If you think your plot of land could house a Glamping site or your business could benefit from this network, join our association and make it stronger in our relationship with the local authorities and tourism regulators.
